Comprehensive Benefits! 401k Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Project Manager to join our construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in project management, budgeting, contract negotiation, quality control, and estimating commercial and retail projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our organization, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a highly collaborative team, working on high-profile projects. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Managing all phases of the construction process from concept through completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget.
  2. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  3. Preparing and managing project budgets, controlling expenses, and ensuring financial performance of projects.
  4. Leading and coordinating the project team, including overseeing subcontractors and ensuring quality control standards are met.
  5. Negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
  6. Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, management, and project team members.
  7. Identifying and managing project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  8. Ensuring all projects comply with safety and building regulations.
Qualifications: To be considered for the Permanent Commercial Project Manager position, candidates should possess the following:
  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in estimating commercial and retail projects.
  3. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, contract negotiation, and quality control.
  4. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
  8. Proficiency in project management software.
  9. A professional certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) would be an asset.
