Job Description

Brand Specialists are key members of the Bloom field, trade and sales efforts in each active market. This position supports brand, marketing, and sales functions by serving as the face of Bloom to buyers, budtenders, and consumers in their markets. Brand Specialists are dynamic, outgoing and articulate professionals who thrive on connecting with individuals to promote the brand and build community. They possess a keen ability to capture and uphold intricate details, actively identifying opportunities to elevate and push the brand further. At the retail level, Brand Specialists will cultivate and sustain relationships with dispensary partners. This will be achieved by providing education to staff and collaborating with dispensary teams to best tailor the brand representation based on retail goals and opportunities. A genuine passion for brand aesthetics, merchandising, and product education is a prerequisite for success in this role. On the consumer front, Brand Specialists lead retail demos and educate consumers about the brand and our products. Beyond this, the role involves actively identifying new opportunities to engage with consumers, both within the retail space and the local community. This includes representing Bloom at local events and activations, solidifying the brand presence and connection with the community. This position is part-time, with an expected 20-25 hours per week. 4-6 hours will be spent in the office at home, and the remaining hours will be spent in the field working with retailers, connecting with consumers and the local cannabis community. The Brand Specialist's goal will be based on the growth in business within their region. There will be an opportunity for this position to become full-time based on performance. Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with retail partners and their staff Lead budtender education Install and maintain merchandising & brand appearance at dispensaries Weekly inventory checks (Digital & In Person) Managing digital menus (images, price and naming) Maintain marketing inventory (printed collateral, swag, samples) Lead consumer demos at dispensary Represent Bloom at industry and community events Attend retail-partner events Assist with retail co-marketing partnerships (i.e. - retail takeovers/activations, collaborative marketing campaigns) Support regional sales teams as needed Share feedback with the sales and marketing team to improve Brand representation and execution in market Salary $20 - $30 USD per hour Required Skills 1 full year of regulated cannabis experience Brand and marketing experience Merchandising experience Field and trade experience Passion for Brand building Organized and detail oriented Strong interpersonal skills Networking and community building skills Positive and collaborative team player Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with a focus on successful completion Social media experience: Instagram & LinkedIn preferred Program experience: Slack, Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Sheets, etc.), Excel Must be 21 years of age or older Desired Skills About Bloom Based out of LA, we have been blessed with access to the highest quaity cannabis in the coutnry.
