Job Title: Boiler Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join a dynamic team in a university setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in logging readings in log books, inspecting worksites for potential issues, and providing excellent customer service during site visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual safety inspections of the boiler area.
• Document pressure and temperature readings accurately.
• Visit the boiler room to record data in log books and log sheets.
• Provide customer service during site visits on campus.

Essential Skills

• Experience in boiler operations and maintenance.
• NJ Blue Seal boiler license.
• Ability to monitor boiler functions and perform maintenance.
• Proficiency in mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a Stationary Engineer.
• Knowledge of compressor systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
