Job Title: Bartender
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: This position works in both stationed and portable bars in the arena and in portable bars in the convention center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Stock a stationed bar
- Setup and teardown a portable bar
- Verify a customer's identification and age
- Prepare and serve traditional mixed drinks
- Use a POS to complete a customer's transaction
- Change both a CO2 tank and beer keg in a kegerator
- Give recommendations to customers based on one's knowledge of different types of alcohol
- To deliver outstanding customer service
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
- Notify Manager when low on items such as beer, wine, liquor, lemons/lines, cups, CO2 tanks, etc.
- Prepare cash receipts
- All other duties as assigned.

Must be 18 or older.
Education and/or Experience High School diploma or G.E.D Or equivalent combination of education and experience
MUST have at least 1 year job experience as a Bartender!
Skills and Abilities Must be able to mix drinks properly, provide efficient verbal interpersonal communication with customers, and be able to change CO2 tanks and keg. Position requires standing, walking and lifting up to 80 pounds. Must have the ability to work late hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, and use hands to finger, handle or feel. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift, and or move up to 25 lbs. and frequently lift and or move up to 80 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
