Job Title: Auto Body Technician
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician with at least 2 years of experience in a body shop or performing bodywork. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sealing seams, preparing products, sanding, polishing, and scuffing areas on vehicles to address paint defects. The ability to mask and tape for paint preparation and perform light bodywork is essential. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seal all seams and prepare vehicles for painting.
• Sand, polish, and scuff areas on vehicles prior to painting to correct defects.
• Mask and tape vehicles for paint preparation.
• Perform light bodywork as needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience in body shop or bodywork.
• Proficiency in sanding, polishing, and scuffing vehicle surfaces.
• Ability to seal seams and prepare vehicles for painting.
• Experience in masking and taping for paint preparation.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in auto body, buffing, and painting is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South El Monte, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
