We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer II to join our team. As an Architectural Designer II, you will play a crucial role in advancing projects through innovative design solutions. You will have the opportunity to work independently with guidance, demonstrating on eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Modify or create implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques and procedures.
  • Independently contribute to the development of project and design solutions, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach.
  • Helps to prepare client presentations and effectively communicates project design intent.
  • Initiate and design in coordination with client requirements, specifications, and goals.
  • Communicates design ideas with sketches, and computer design tools (such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), SketchUp, and Abode Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
  • Provides guidance to entry-level staff as appropriate
  • Attend on- site visits, field reviews, and client/ project meetings, documenting these visits as needed.
  • Works with the Principals, Director of Design, and Project Managers to prepare presentations, design, and produce documents through the construction documents phase.
  • Works collaboratively with office staff and other satellite offices.
  • Assists during the construction administration in the review and processing of shop drawings and approvals of material samples in alignment with design goals.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of design and construction methods.
  • Understanding of building tectonics and applicable codes.
  • Strong design and graphic skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign desired.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.
  • Bachelors in Architecture
  • 3-5+ years experience
