Accounting Manager
Location: Houston, TX

Company Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. Our ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in construction industry accounting, with expertise in full-cycle accounting including AIA Billings and pay apps. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing day-to-day accounting duties from payables through month-end, with a focus on accuracy and communication with Project Managers.Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including AIA Billings, payables, and month-end procedures.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date project accounting.
• Utilize Sage accounting software to manage financial data effectively.
• Coordinate with third-party company for outsourced controller duties.
• Maintain compliance with AIA documentation standards and construction industry accounting practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is a plus.
• 10+ years of proven experience in construction accounting, with a focus on AIA billing and Sage accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of AIA documentation standards and construction industry accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, plus bonus potential.
• Company benefits cover 100% for employees and dependents.
