The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a community of professionals who believe in the power of interior design to improve the human experience. With more than 21,000 members, we serve to unite people who share our belief and seek collaboration with those working to promote the value of interior design through networking, knowledge and information sharing, education and training, business support and advocacy.

The Accountant is responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated financial reports to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. The role performs general cost accounting, prepares periodic balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements. Ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. If you have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, this position may be for you. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Highly proficient with accounting software. Abila/MIP experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with non-profit management preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
