3D and AI Avatar Research and Development

You will be responsible for identifying and implementing novel solutions to cutting edge 3D Avatar. To achieve that mission, you will be involved in developing 3D reconstruction and rendering of human face and implementing features that can involve numerous aspects of the graphics and visual domain. You will create stylized visual effects using particles, animation, sprites, textures, 3D models and shaders in the Unreal or Unity game engine.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience with high performance video game and graphics applications
• Proficient in 3D graphics pipeline understanding and modeling skill
• Experience in Tensorflow, PyTorch, Python or C/C++
• Research and/or work experience in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision
• Game engine-based coding experience in Unreal and Unity engine

Preferred / Additional Skills

• A PhD degree in Computer Science with excellent research capability
• Strong understanding of 3D math, linear algebra, and techniques for numerical computing, modeling, simulation
• Experience with 4D data capture and handling pipelines
• Understanding 3D human head reconstruction, fitting, rendering, and recent AI technology (NERF, StyleGan, etc.)
• Writing script for Blender for automation

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building the 3D avatar for metaverse. Work closely with other researcher/engineers across Geo and other organizations in cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with other teams to define, prototype, build, and test features and experiences.
• Debug and profile scalable 3D experiences to ensure performance across devices and platforms.

Additional Information
Minimum salary range between $100,000 - $16,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
