Job Description

The Puller & Putaway associates use cherry pickers and reach trucks, as well as forklifts, to retrieve and consolidate freight in the distribution center. They will retrieve warehouse orders and move them to the proper induction lanes so the freight can go to the stores. They will also locate warehouse locations to put away inbound freight so that it can be later retrieved to send to the stores.

• Moves product via powered industrial equipment to and from locations.
• Use a RF scan gun to scan cases, master loads, and locations as needed.
• Ability to ensure that freight is going to the proper location.
• Ability to check and maintain proper documentation in the warehouse management system.
• Required to accurately follow various processes related to inbound, outbound, and freight relocation operations.
• Ensure the freight is stacked securely prior to moving the pallet.
• Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly .
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• May be required to cross train and perform other duties.

• • Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to count and perform basic math.

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 65 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift, bend, carry and push
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department across facilities.
  • Depth perception and the ability to ensure proper locations at a distance of up to 30.
