Window Treatment Installer Job Responsibilities
$18-$24/hr
Ø Install blinds, Shades, shutters, and other window treatments.
Ø Perform window treatment repairs.
Ø Receive customer payments out in the field.
Ø Maintain proper installation paperwork.
Ø Clean customer premises of any installation debris, dust, etc.
Ø Help receive and organize window coverings orders and installation materials.
Ø Maintain a clean work van and regular maintenance to ensure all fluids and safety checklist.
Ø Canvass and participate in other lead-generating programs.
Ø Measure homes and business for window treatments
Ø Have excellent customer interactions.
Ø Work collaboratively across teams and departments to ensure high quality and timeliness of project completion to achieve the company’s mission.
Ø Other related duties as assigned by management.
Window Installer Qualifications / Skills
Prior general carpentry/ workmanship skills from any industry. Experience working as an in-home installer is a plus.
Ø Self-Directed and able to work independently as well as with a team.
Ø Friendly, courteous, and pleasant with all types of people.
Ø Ability to learn and install new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
Ø Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem- solving skills.
Ø Written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of star staff and clients.
Ø Current and valid drivers license and insurance
Ø Punctional and dependable
Ø Ability to pass a drug screen test and background check plus clean driving record
Ø Ability to liift a minimum of 50lbs and can climb up and down ladders.
