Plastic Welder/Fabricator
Our client needs a Plastic Welder who specializes in joining and repairing plastic components using heat and pressure working with hand-welding machinery.
Job Duties: Encompass reading blueprints, selecting appropriate
welding equipment, and ensuring high-quality, durable welds.
Responsibilities:
Perform Plastic welding according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Operate and maintain welding equipment to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Inspect and examine welds to ensure that they meet quality standards and project specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine welding.
Requirements.
Collaborate with other team members to plan and coordinate welding projects.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure its longevity and optimal
performance.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in plastic welding techniques, equipment, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise and accurate welding.
Attention to detail and quality control to ensure finished products meet standards.
Flexibility to work in various environments and with different types of plastics.
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other welders and supervisors.
Good math skills.
Experience using grinders, saws all, drills and Dremel tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Capable of standing for long periods of time.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
