Students can enhance their college experience by working in a challenging and dynamic workplace, gaining invaluable experience for next steps in their careers.Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:* Application of engineering calculations.* Manage projects across multiple disciplines within Shape.* Create technical documents summarizing data analysis and conclusions.* Ability to present technical information.* Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, not otherwise specified in this position description.Welding Engineering Focus* Fanuc GMAW Programming, Troubleshooting and Optimizing.* Trumpf TruTops offline programing and 8030 cutting operation.* Dimensional Capability Improvement.* Capital and Tooling Design and Procurement.* Process/ Parameter Development, Optimization, and Documentation.Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, not otherwise specified in this position description.Education & Experience* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree within an accredited program seeking degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other relevant science or engineering field.* 3.0 GPA or higher on 4.0 GPA scale, strongly preferred.* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.* Able to work independently and with a team.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills.
