Web Designer III
Location: Preference is San Diego and Mountain View, CA but open to Remote PST!
Contract Length: Only 3 months!

Job Description:
Designs and constructs web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques. Provides ongoing design and maintenance of the website. Utilizes ASP pages, HTML code, and graphics software.
This individual will mockup a user experience to organize and display content in a way that is simple to navigate for our customers (Customers are the program management organization, business operations and our mission based team members). This could be through lumapps framework which we provide or building a team wiki from scratch.
Ideally this individual will have helped implement an internal intranet page as past experience (or external facing web page). No coding experience required. Visual design/graphic design experience preferred.
Skills:
Project Management: Build a workback plan to deliver end product on time. Manage the project ensuring it delivers on time and on budget. Look around corners and identify risks, resolve blockers and escalate where appropriate.
Stakeholder management and engagement: Work with our PMO, Business operations team to get inputs on what content should be displayed, Work with our intranet team to build insight page. Gather feedback and empathy along the way. Ensure various stakeholders are well informed of their role in helping progress to be made and where we are at in the process.
Visual Design: Ability to create an intranet page that is visually appealing and organized in a way that makes it easy for our end user to navigate and find the resources they need. Create graphically appealing visuals to make the site appealing. Organize content in a way that is easy for end users to use/access
