Job Description

Weaving Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Reports to: Product Manager/Plant Manager

Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

Pay: $19 per hour

Summary: Join our collaborative production team, where teamwork and respect are fundamental. Operate machinery to weave custom wire designs, ensuring quality and precision in every sheet produced.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Load and lace looms with wire.

  2. Identify each wire design accurately after the initial 90 days.

  3. Perform hourly quality checks for miss-weaves and diamond counts.

  4. Achieve error-free weaving, adhering to production router specifications.

  5. Verify and ensure the quality of woven sheets and add to Raw Inventory.

  6. Collaborate closely with team leaders in weaving and crimping.

  7. Gain proficiency in operating both looms.

  8. Communicate effectively with team members, showing respect and listening actively.

  9. Lead by example, maintain flexibility and show initiative.

  10. Proactively ask questions and engage in problem-solving.

  11. Report any production, quality, or equipment issues to management immediately.

  12. Complete and submit daily production routers and time sheets.

  13. Accurately fill out all required job information (Crimping & Weaving Instructions / Routing).
