Pay Range $69,200.00-$95,200.00 Annual
This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for safely directing the day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure customers receive the correct products on time. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for establishing operation standards to maximize efficiency and minimize errors to create positive customer relations and high brand loyalty, and to effectively utilize SAP and other JM systems to provide favorable customer experiences.
Your Day to Day: Safety - Maintain a safe work environment and accountability for safe work practices
- Administer warehouse safety program to meet OSHA/JM safety requirements
- Conduct communication and safety meetings
Leadership and Operations Management - Direct day to day operations of hourly warehouse personnel in a multiple shift, 24/5 continuous operation
- Direct, develop, review and evaluate staff
- Supervise all inbound/outbound shipping and receiving, and warehouse storage and handling activities.
Service, Shipping and Warehousing - Work closely with customer service on order entry and product mix
- Coordinate orders and shipping through use of SAP and other JM systems
- Coordinate shipments through corporate transportation management
- Coordinate availability of finished product with production
- Oversee billing process for timeliness and accuracy
- Oversee order packaging and fulfillment quality program to meet JM and customer standards
- Resolve specific service-related issues, coordination of return logistics and processing
- Ship & receive hazardous materials and understand compliance issues
Inventory and Materials Management - Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available to support production, warehouse, and overall site operations
- Support site-wide physical inventory program through administration of cycle count program and annual physical inventory
- Help in optimizing freight and warehouse spend.
Continuous Improvement - Manage to the metrics for the management and continuous improvement of the warehousing/shipping functions
- Identify and direct the development and implementation of shipping work instructions/procedures to ensure consistent practices
- Create a culture where everybody embraces quality of service as a priority
What You Bring to the Team: - High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years warehouse and supervisory work experience
- 2-year college degree + 2 years supervisory work experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
- Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred, but not required)
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications. Strong Excel skills a plus.
- Solid ability to understand product line and product application
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations including Hazmat shipping
- Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Supervise team of 15-20 hourly employees, sets direction and deploys resources. Responsible for training, performance review, hiring, and terminating.
- Minimal travel required 0-10 days per year
- Work environment is typical of a manufacturing warehouse facility. May be exposed to environmental conditions of cold, heat, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust mist gas fumes, extensive walking or climbing, etc.

Additional Consideration For: - APICS certification
- 4-year degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
- 4+ years' proven experience in managing operations in a shipping/warehouse environment.
- Strong to advanced experience with multiple SAP modules - Warehouse, Transportation, Inventory, Production, Materials Management, Purchasing, Order Management
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (pivot tables, lookups)
- Proven ability to manage, efficiently organize, and maximize warehouse space layout and utilization
- Lean or Six Sigma experience or certification
