We are currently looking for a second shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of fresh berries.
Responsibilities - Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Plans and organizes the receiving and shipping of berries and other produce within the warehouse.
- Ensures productivity, safety, and sanitation targets are met or exceeded.
- Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of warehouse staff and departments.
- Communicate and liaise with other departments.
- Ensures changes are made with scheduling.
- Makes sure all pallets are cooled and stacked properly, including inspecting warehouse for forced cooling.
- Ensures temperatures are in range for proper storage and shipping.
- Ensures temperatures of trucks are in range prior to loading and unloading.
- Ensures produce is shipped correctly.
- Ensures shipping fills orders in a timely fashion.
- Trains staff and monitors their performance and progress.
- Ensures quality, delivery, and budget objectives are met.
- Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation’s headquarters in Plant City, FL.
- Ensures the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
- Audit and verify inventory counts, accuracies, and product rotation.
- Coordinate and assist in communicating customer’s expectations with Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics.

Requirements - College degree preferred.
- Two years of related warehouse Supervisor/Manager experience required in a cold storage facility managing a crew of ten or more employees.
- Must have produce experience, berry experience preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Excellent leadership, decision making, and problem resolution skills.
- Flexibility in hours to accommodate business needs.
- Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
- Highly proficient in computer use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees, and customers.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and requirements to maintain compliance to all relevant statues and guiding principles.
- Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork, productivity, safety, and sanitation.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Working Conditions: Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 34°F. Position requires sitting, standing, walking, and bending on a regular basis. Must be able to lift to 30 pounds.
