Warehouse Manager RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES **Responsibilities**
* Supervise material handling employees as they ready items for shipment or storage by packaging, packing and equipment operation, and by expediting, follow-up and overall stockroom organization. Supervise employees engaged in allocating, picking, and transaction processing activity to support shipping and receiving operations. Supervise Receiving associates engaged in receiving, storage, record maintenance and withdrawal transaction of component products in process or finished goods.
* Responsible to assure that packaging and shipping meets company, government and customer requirements for documentation, certificate of conformance, export shipping, and transport. Assure that stock room receivers, storage and withdrawal transactions are consistent with production documentation, stock room procedures, inventory records, and adhere to Quality and operational standards.
* Follows proper stockroom procedures, including Cycle Count procedures, and/or verbal task assignments received daily and select alternatives to ship or store specific items. Provide status reports daily, take action on specific requests and prepare formal reports as required. Inform manager of work in- progress and on cycle counts as required. Submit deviations to inventory, cycle counts, receiving or storage policy for approval by superior.
* Facilitates manual and clerical work of stock room and warehousing employees. Determine course of action to initiate and complete work operations without instruction from superior. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements or well established inventory and storage procedures. Review employee tasks and make recommendation to improve inadequacies or inefficient operations.
* Performs standardized stockroom or warehouse activities. Select and apply methods for receiving, storage and release of production parts including returning excessive stock and rearranging floor space. Review assigned tasks to determine staff requirements, work flow and equipment needs. Organize and plan activities of subordinates to accomplish daily assignments.
* Responsible for implementing and maintaining cycle count process, as well as receipt of, packaging and storing into finished goods all receipts as well as accuracy of incoming and outgoing inventory transactions.
* Coordinate shipping, packaging and stock room employee work assignments and establish work priorities to maintain balanced load factors, request and authorize use of overtime and temporary employees, and otherwise take action to meet assigned daily or monthly goals.
* Validate stock room receiver counts against in-process documentation, assure that parts are protected and not damaged, and store in accordance with product specification.
* Assure that stock room receivers, storage and withdrawal transactions are consistent with production documentation, stock room procedures, inventory records, and adhere to Quality and operational standards.
* Responsible for shipping follow-up function within any department and provide special handling to eliminate shortages of parts and assemblies and otherwise expedite customer items for shipment and return. Coordinate movement and transaction of product identified by engineering change order from stock room to Material Review Bond area, and coordinate Return to Stock Items.
* Take physical inventories either directly or through subordinates to determine removal of obsolete stock or to identify necessary stock reduction.
* Develop or review detailed stock room procedure. Make detailed analysis to determine compliance with specific product receiving, wrapping, preservation, packaging, labeling, storage and release.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities, as required
QUALIFICATIONS **Qualifications**
* Be able to resolve inconsistencies in documentation, product identification, labeling requirements, receiving reports, packaging for storage, inventory records and physical inventories. Resolve non-routine stock room problems which follow established patterns as required.
* Experience in Cycle count procedures and Inventory Control requirements
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Attentive to detail and organized
* Self directed and good problem solving abilities
* Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and other applicable standard
* Computer Experience including but not limited to MS Word/Excel, ORACLE MRP system experience a plus.
* Bachelors Degree preferred
* Three (5) years experience in Inventory Control, Shipping, Warehouse, Distribution environment.
**TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED**
**Two wheel dollies, pallet jacks, Fork Lifts, telephone, personal computer linked to local area networks, and copy machine.**

sit, listen, and speak, kneel and bend. The employee may be required to periodically lift and/or move up to 50 lbs to 60 lbs, and transfers such weight up and down flights of stairs. The employee must also be able to carry heavy weights on two wheel dollies and pallet jacks.
