Warehouse Inbound Teammate (Upper Marlboro, MD)
Are you an experienced warehouse professional with a knack for operating forklifts? We're seeking a skilled and energetic Warehouse Inbound Teammate to join our client's team. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading supplies distributor.
Pay: $19/hr
Shifts: This is an "until finished" role, with required overtime. You will be assigned to one of the following shifts:
Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. until completion (typically 3:30 p.m.)
Responsibilities:
Unload & Inspect: Efficiently unload inbound trucks and inspect freight for accuracy and damage.
Equipment Operation: Safely use a variety of material handling equipment to move and store products.
Inventory Management: Use an RF scanner and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately put away products.
General Duties: Maintain a clean work area and participate in annual physical inventory counts.
Requirements:
Proficiency: You must be proficient in operating a Reach Truck, Stand-up Dock Stacker, and Cherry Picker .
Road Test: You will be required to pass a hands-on skills test on all three pieces of equipment on-site.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and assigned Saturdays.
Safety: Must be able to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
