Job Description

Bala Golf Club is looking for experienced and detail-oriented wait staff to elevate dining service in our Grill Room and Members' Dining Room. Proven server experience and excellent customer service skills are a must, and fine dining service is a plus. Good servers will be able to create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guest, and will think and act quickly to anticipate member needs and ensure superlative service. 

• Take drink and food orders quickly and accurately and enter into point of sale
• Work with fellow wait staff and bartenders to eliminate lapses in service experience
• Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared to order and in a timely manner
• Present menu options and specials clearly and enthusiastically
• Work quickly and diplomatically to resolve lapses in service

Skills

• Proven work experience as a server
• Excellent customer service skills
• Fine dining experience a plus
• Strong desire to perform each shift
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to keep dining facilities and staging areas organized, stocked and clean

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Competitive wages offered. U.S. work authorization required.

Must be available to work through December. Weekends and some holidays required.

Must have reliable transportation to 2200 Belmont Ave., Philadelphia, PA (public transportation included).
