It is the responsibility of the Visual Merchandiser to uphold the brand image and values of Peter Millar & G/FORE throughout North America. You will be working closely with the Retail Team to build a strategic plan to implement during store visits. These strategies will enhance customer experience, highlight top selling products, and build confidence with store associates. Specialty projects (US Open, Chicago Collective, Raleigh Showroom) play a major role within the company and create strong visual storytelling. Our visual merchandising standards must be upheld to the highest standards to entice current and future clientele.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Ensure merchandise layout is following company standards and being displayed in an organized fashion Work closely with the Retail Team and Sr. Director of Retail and Director of Retail Stores on highlighting seasonally appropriate products Manage travel schedule to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner Plan store layouts to ensure color flow, mannequin placements, and fixturing that represents the current season's collection Train store associates in visual merchandising standards/guidelines and help guide on best practices during seasonal flips Keeping a clean and organized space in the office showroom that best displays Peter Millar Problem solving onsite to tailor clothing to each unique store design COMPETENCIES: Excellent communication and collaboration skills High attention to detail Flexible schedules including nights and weekends for major company projects/blackout periods Strong interpersonal skills related to a team atmosphere Strong leadership skills in order to lead store teams in direction in VM Ability to lift 50lbs, move fixtures, climb ladders when needed Must be highly organized DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Luxury retail experience in Visual Merchandising with strong aesthetic in terms of retail design and product display 5+ years' experience in visual merchandising Extensive experience with styling mannequins and outfitting displays If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
