Vulcraft Indiana, a division of Nucor, is a well-known leader in the design and manufacture of custom-engineered steel joists and decking. We are a team that provides our customers with high quality products, tools and technological solutions that drive profitability.
Basic Job Functions:Vulcraft - Indiana has an opening for one or more Detailers. A Detailer is responsible for preparing Field Use Drawings for our customer and a Bill of Materials for manufacturing. These are prepared by using a 3D Modeling software (Tekla) along with a proprietary overlay program (VulTek). Detailers will need to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to Steel Joists and Steel Deck and will apply them to the 3D Model. Coordination of Details and Connections with outside Structural Detailers. Work with Vulcraft Engineers on the application of design loading in the 3D model. Ability to work overtime hours when needed to complete projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
