About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of North American Payroll to lead the transformation and optimization of its payroll operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the overall payroll strategy, managing a multi-national team, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding service to employees and partners. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in payroll management, deep expertise in payroll systems, and a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams. The VP will oversee all aspects of payroll operations, including compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local laws, and will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates for the VP of North American Payroll position at the company should have at least 10 years' progressive payroll experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a large, multinational organization. The role demands a professional with a customer-centric mindset, excellent leadership and team management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. A strong technical background in payroll systems and a deep understanding of US and Canadian payroll regulations are essential. The ideal candidate will also have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience with a 3rd party outsourcing partner. The VP will be expected to proactively drive change management activities, ensure compliance, and manage vendor relationships.
