About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Senior Executive Vice President for Health Affairs and Health System. The successful candidate will be a strategic advisor, organizational integrator, and execution partner, with a primary focus on driving alignment across the tripartite mission of clinical care, education, and research. This role involves serving as a trusted counselor to the SEVP and working collaboratively with various stakeholders to advance the institution's strategic priorities, operational excellence, and public service mission. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for fostering collaboration among clinical teams, faculty, and administrative staff, and ensuring that university-wide planning is in place across the missions. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position should have a deep understanding of the intersection of healthcare delivery, academic medicine, public policy, and executive leadership within a complex public academic health center. The role requires a candidate who can provide coordinated leadership, strategic oversight, and day-to-day operations management for all health-related schools and clinical delivery systems and initiatives.
