Role Overview Embark on a fulfilling career in this remote role, where you will be vital in supporting our loan processing team. Manage documentation, engage with clients, and facilitate smooth application processes, all from the comfort of your home in Colombia. Key Responsibilities: Investor Guidelines Mastery: Maintain an expert understanding of investor guidelines to ensure compliance across all loan files, especially focusing on Jumbo and non-QM loan products. Complex Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analyses to assess borrowers' income stability, reliability, and overall creditworthiness, involving varied income sources and complex financial documentation. Loan Documentation Review: Ensure thorough reviews of loan applications, appraisals, credit reports, and other required documents for completeness and accuracy. Verification Management: Oversee the ordering and reviewing of essential verifications such as employment checks, credit supplements, and tax transcripts, in alignment with findings from automated underwriting systems. Quality Control and Reporting: Produce detailed quality control reports that identify issues, document potential problems, and suggest corrective actions to enhance the loan approval process. Collaborative Team Support: ServeAct as a key resource for the loan processing team, assisting with document preparation, discrepancy resolution, and submission readiness. Required Skills and Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in US mortgage pre-underwriting, particularly with Jumbo and non-QM loans. Exceptional knowledge of investor guidelines and a proven track record in managing compliant loans. Advanced proficiency in financial income analysis, with the ability to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights. Proficient with major Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and a strong understanding of current mortgage regulations. Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
