Title : UX/UI Designer

About the role:

As a Part-Time UX/UI Designer with EMS|MC, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding user experiences for our digital products.

As a UX/UI Designer with EMS|MC, you will:
  • Design intuitive, engaging, and responsive user interfaces for web applications.
  • Quickly and iteratively develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Ensure the design is in line with the brand identity and business goals.
  • Collaborate daily with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
  • Communicate design concepts and specifications to the development team.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
  • Use analytics tools such as Figma and Adobe to assess the performance of the design.
  • Implement changes based on user feedback and data.
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Analyze user feedback and activity to develop insights that inform design decisions.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and use case scenarios.
  • Continuously and proactively seek to improve the user experience and design process.
Other Responsibilities/Activities
  • Advocate for best practices in design and user experience.
  • Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

You will be successful in this role if you:
  • Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and demonstrating user-centered design skills.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
