What You Will Do :
Support & implement UI/UX design modifications based on testing, customer feedback, and team goals in an agile environment.
Participate in product decisions from definition to release.
Improve designs based on testing, interviews, user research, surveys, etc.
Work with product owners, scrum team, and stakeholders to understand requirements for new and existing features.
Collaborate with developers during sprints to answer questions and validate features as they are being developed.
Contribute to development of best practices and standards to be used by product and engineering.

What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
FOUR (4) years of IT experience as UI/UX designer.
Good knowledge of design concepts including but not limited to: interface design, prototyping, and design systems development.
Proficient with design tools like Sketch or Adobe XD
Follow best practices and standards.
Ability to articulate design requirements to be used by the development team.
General understanding of Web Development best practices (HTML5, CSS3).
Ability to maintain a big-picture vision while defining very detailed requirements.
Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.
Ability to apply and provide feedback on service operation model and practices
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Experience building single-page applications consuming REST API.
Human Centered Design (HCD) Experience.
Experience participating in product decisions from definition to release.
Experience with federal government systems and supporting federal projects.
Experience implementing 508 Compliance.
