Description/Job Summary

Manages a portfolio of trust accounts. Responsible for prospecting new customers and cross-selling other banking services. Some travel required

Responsibilities/Duties

1. Prospects new customers and solicits new trust. Cross-sells other banking services to new and existing customers. Maintains on-going customer contact to ensure good customer relations. Interacts by telephone and in person.
2. Performs on-going management of a large portfolio of trust account relationships. Includes account reviews, problem solving, research and follow-up.
3. Participate in preparation of department budget, goals and objectives and strategic planning.
4. Participate in civic and community organizations, representing the bank, but following personal interests.
5. Regular and reliable attendance.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Ability to work within strict time constraints and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• Previous trust experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trust accounts, laws, and regulations.
• Knowledge of bank products and services.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and principles.

Preferred Education

• College degree preferred.
