\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 36/36 or 36/48 schedule with weekend coverage required
\n• Days: 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday shifts per scheduling period
\n• Nights: 6 Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts per period
\n• No call responsibilities
\n• Floating required to medical surgical units
\n• PCU patient ratio 1:5, Med Surg ratio 1:7 when floated
\n• 24 hours of orientation (16 hours non-billable)
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Accepts first-time travelers
\n• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIH, AHA ACLS
\n• Must maintain permanent residence 100+ miles from hospital service area
\n• Care for adult patients with daily census of 33
\n• Skills required: dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response/code team utilization, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management (no titration), airway management, telemetry monitoring
\n• Special procedures include dialysis and peritoneal dialysis
\n• Active participation in nursing student support and clinical education required
\n• Drug testing must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
\n• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for CDC fit testing guidelines
\n• Complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
