• Ratios: 1:4 all shifts
• Years of experience REQ: 2 years - Must be familiar with intermediate medication gtts (ie: heparin, nitro, cardizem, insulin, etc)
• Charge Experience Required
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Weekend REQ: Yes – every other
• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed.
• FLOAT UNITS: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation
• Open to accommodating block schedule? No
• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
• Work Settings: Telemetry
• Observation Medicine Experience - preferred

Unit Specific Information

• Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Around 2/3 of our patients are currently managed under our EDOBS providers located within the department from 7a - 7p and reachable via phone call to the ED from 7p - 7a. Fast pace department with a length of stay goal of 18 - 24 hours.
