Accurate Staffing Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Gastroenterology for a travel nursing job in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Job Description & RequirementsThis is a 28 bed, acute care, inpatient nursing unit.Our interdisciplinary team provides evidence-based and high-quality care primarily to adult post-surgical patients with weight loss issue, gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, and complex non-cancer GI-related illnesses. Our patient populations require close post-operative observation, occasional remote cardiac telemetry, early aggressive mobilization, pulmonary hygiene, extensive physical therapies, IV, central line/PICC line care, administration of TPN, anticoagulation, oxygen therapy, pain management, blood product administration, intake/output and ostomy care. Additionally, multiple tube/drain care to include, chest tubes, Foley catheters, NG tubes, G-tubes, J-tubes, J/P drains, and rectal tubes. Extensive complex wound management along with multimodal nutritional support is given throughout the course of hospitalization. Ratio is 1:5. Must have 1 year of experience.
