Job Details

• Position Overview: The RN Case Manager determines the appropriateness and medical necessity for all inpatient, observation, and swing-bed admissions, change in level of care and continued stay. Verifies all status orders and documentation on patients in the inpatient departments. Responsible for coordinating discharge to ensure continuity of care. Leads the Transition of Care Team for a targeted multidisciplinary approach to the discharge process for patients. Facilitates ancillary services for targeted patients.

Job Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.

Schedule Information

• Guaranteed Hours: While we can't guarantee hours on our contracts, your traveler will be scheduled for around 36-40 hours per week. We do not downstaff, so they are essentially guaranteed hours.

Additional Details

• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It is extremely expensive, especially in the winter. Please consider housing options in the surrounding towns: Basalt, Carbondale, & Glenwood Springs. $3,500/month is common for a 1BR apartment in Basalt. Travelers looking for a housing budget less than this should probably not be submitted.
• Not accepting any RTO. Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation).
• ***RTO: We do not formally approve ANY RTO, but will do our best to accommodate.
• ***DISPUTES: 30 DAY TIMEFRAME otherwise they'll be denied.
