Job Description:

• Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lab results to medical staff
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Adhere to quality control standards and safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to provide accurate diagnostic support
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience
• Recent Blood Bank (BB) experience required
