Position: Independent Travel Agent
Location: Remote (Work from anywhere with phone and Internet access)

About Us:

The Savvy Travel Agency is expanding our team, and we want you! This flexible, commission-based role allows you to work independently, whether from home, a cruise ship, or any destination of your choice.

Responsibilities:
  • Network actively to seek out new clients for travel opportunities.
  • Engage with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
  • Plan and organize travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and activities.
  • Provide expert recommendations on destinations, attractions, and travel packages.
  • Execute sales strategies to promote travel packages and upsell services.
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly and resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to generate your own client leads and sales opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficient with technology and social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Personal travel experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Spending amply amounts of time learning about suppliers, their systems, and doing practice quotes/ presentations.
  • This is a fun and exciting career path, but you need to understand this opportunity is much more about being excellent at research and marketing than it is about traveling or the love of travel.
