The Sales Associate must be willing work any weekdays, and willing to work  every Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday and some Sundays when required .

Job Overview

The UPS Store Sales Associate  is responsible for assisting customers with their shipping, packing and printing needs and ensuring high-quality customer service, and excellent attention to detail. They provide personalized assistance and guidance to customers, offering recommendations and solutions to meet their shipping, packing and printing requirements.

Ideal Characteristics

The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. Ideally the candidate has previous retail experience with some knowledge of printing.

Compensation

Compensation, between $12.00 to $14.00 per hour starting pay. Dependent upon experience and recommendations.

Hiring Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Retail/customer service experience (3 years preferred)
• Good communication and people skills
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, including email.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Must have a customer service oriented, friendly, helpful, and professional disposition.

Experience

• Able to lift up to 40 + pounds

Daily Job Duties

• Customer Service: Greeting customers, listening to their shipping, packing and printing needs, and providing exceptional customer service. Assisting customers in choosing the right shipping, packing and printing options and materials based on their specifications.
• Operate the cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
• Order Processing: Accurately processing and managing shipping, packing and printing orders, including inputting information into the system, pricing, and billing.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and replenishing shipping, packing and printing supplies, including paper, ink, and other consumables. Ensuring inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demands.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished shipping, packing and printing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and overall quality. Addressing any discrepancies or errors before delivering the final product to customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Hours of Operation

The UPS Store is open:

Monday through Friday from 8:30am-6:30pm

Saturdays from 10:00am-5:00pm

Sunday 11am-3pm
