Akkodis is seeking a
Teradata Developer for a
Contract job with a client in
Charlotte, NC . The ideal candidate is a skilled Teradata Developer with experience in designing and maintaining Financial Crimes applications, collaborating with business partners, and following agile best practices.
Rate Range: $62/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Teradata Developer job responsibilities include: - Designing and developing applications for Financial Crimes technology.
- Collaborating with business partners to define and refine system requirements.
- Developing data models and implementing data provisioning solutions.
- Ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and agile processes.
- Supporting change management, platform upgrades, and continuous integration efforts.
Desired Qualifications: - BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Teradata development and data management.
- Proficiency in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, and Informatica.
- Experience with Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark) and Cloudera CDP.
- Strong knowledge in data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning for large-scale financial data initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and CI/CD tools (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Autosys.
