Job Description:
Responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Length of Time: 12 weeks with the possibility of an extension
Eligibility: Cannot be a current Essentia Health employee or have been an Essentia Health employee over the last 12 months (including those that remained in a PRN status).
Overtime after 40 hours of work in a week
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification at the time of hire
The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
