We are seeking a Development Team Lead to head our talented group of Developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of hands-on development experience, combined with a proven ability to collaborate with other Team Leads and guide and mentor fellow Developers. Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead and participate in the creation of high-performance desktop, web, and mobile applications.

  • Engage with business stakeholders and collaborate with other development Team Leads as well as the Project Management Team to clearly define and understand project requirements.

  • Oversee and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.

  • Ensure continuous support and improvements for both current and legacy systems.

Required Proficiencies:

  • Mastery in C#, .Net, and .Net Framework.

  • Comprehensive understanding of project architecture to ensure scalability.

  • ORM, with a preference for Entity Framework.

  • Microsoft SQL including Advanced Queries, Functions, and Triggers.

  • Microsoft Asp.Net MVC stack.

  • Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including Ajax operations, DOM manipulation, and form handling.

  • Adeptness in JSON object creation and consumption.

  • Consuming and creating APIs/WebAPIs.

  • Public Cloud Development stacks, notably Azure and AWS.

  • Continuous integration, ideally with Azure DevOps and Bitbucket Pipelines

  • Migration from .Net Framework to .Net

  • AWS/Azure Serverless Functions.

  • Authentication with an Identity Provider (AWS IAM, Azure B2C, etc.).

  • Integrating with Local Microsoft Active Directory and AAD.

  • Microsoft Graph.

  • Git code repositories with advanced operations and flow.

  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms, like Atlassian Jira.

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving mastery.

Leadership Proficiencies:

  • Team Guidance: Proven ability to mentor, train, and guide team members.

  • Project Oversight: Demonstrated experience in working with Project Management Teams to steer projects, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the team's focus on strategic objectives.

  • Conflict Resolution: Adept at identifying and resolving project-related conflicts, ensuring a harmonious work environment.

  • Decision Making: Ability to make informed, effective, and timely decisions under pressure or in ambiguous situations.

  • Strategic Vision: Capability to set, communicate, and work towards a long-term vision or goal for the team or project.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Proficiency in liaising with cross-functional teams, Upper Management, and the Project Management Team, ensuring clear and transparent communication.

  • Resource Allocation: Demonstrated skill in efficiently participating in allocating and optimizing team resources based on project requirements and timelines.

Desired Proficiencies:

  • Kendo/Telerik UI (for HTML, MVC, Blazor)

  • Xamarin/Maui

  • Azure Service Bus, SignalR

Bonus Point Proficiencies:

  • Native iOS/Android Development

  • ETL processes and best practices

  • Alternative financial basics, including Fund Accounting, Trade/Settle Process and FIX Protocol.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive expertise in web application development for both desktop and mobile.

  • At least seven years of in-depth development experience.

  • At least three years of professional leadership experience.

  • Formal education in software development or a substantial, documented trajectory of self-driven learning.

  • Proven skill in managing the nuances of development projects.

  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with evidence of guiding team members.

  • A distinguished record of success in software projects, complemented by a profound grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Working Hours and Compensation/Benefits:

  • $90,000 - $125,000

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Our Interview Process:

  1. Initial technical interview (30 minutes)

  2. Coding challenge (2-6 hours)

  3. Post-challenge technical review (1 hour)

  4. Final interview (1 hour)
