Who You Are:

• LLM in Taxation (Preferred)
• Previous Experience in Tax Counsel: Areas of Taxation, Tax Incentive, and Corporate Matters (Federal, State, and Local Tax Returns and Tax Compliance; Business Transactions, and Estate/Gift Tax)
• CPA Firm Experience (Big Plus)
• Louisiana Bar Admissions / CPA
• Reviews personal, fiduciary, and business tax returns
• Performs more complex tax returns
• Develops general understanding of firm philosophy and tax opinions
• Delegates work to tax staff, senior tax accountants, and tax supervisors and supervises work
• Acts as key client contact person for personal tax return clients and business clients

What You Will Be Doing?

Tax Attorneys must have a complete knowledge of the firm's philosophy and its culture. Attorneys maintain and develop expertise in the profession and the niche areas they service. Work is performed under minimal supervision. Attorneys are the liaison between the Partner, the client, and the professional staff. Supports the firm by performing the following duties.
