Description
The HR Business Partner will support all HR activities for the corporate office and the branch locations across the United States. They will be the HR partner for the leaders in the respective groups to assist with recruiting, employee relations, engagement, and other HR duties. The position will report directly to the Director of HR.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Recruiting: - Manage all recruiting including hourly and professional salaried roles
- Workforce planning with operations leadership to ensure proper staffing levels based off business needs
- Assist with the managing of full life cycle recruiting process for corporate salaried employees
- Implement creative sourcing and marketing strategies to cut down on recruiting costs
- Attend career fairs to actively promote the employer brand
Performance Management, Training & Development: - Support compliance work for all relevant and required trainings
- Comfortable presenting at Town Hall Meetings, and able to deliver potential HR trainings
- Create and manage internship, training and attendance program
Employee Relations: - Stay up to date on all local, state and federal regulations that may impact associate client groups
- Manage any disciplinary actions, including but not limited do corrective actions, performance improvement plans and terminations when necessary for appropriate client groups
Other Duties: - Participate and help in corporate projects and initiatives
- Work with payroll to resolve any pay issues or disputes
- Back-up for other HR team members
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of HR experience; manufacturing and corporate experience preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information, decisions, and situation
- Previous experience using Paylocity, UKG, Workday, ADP, or similar HRIS platform
- Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and effectively utilizes time management skills
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Must ability to work cross functionally and adapt to different social settings
- Must have strong recruiting and project management skills
- Prior experience with Employee Relations investigations a plus
- Prior experience supporting a remote workforce a plus
$60,000.00 - 73,000.00/year, depending on education and experience.
