We are looking for skilled professionals with experience in garment construction, repair, and production sewing. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, take pride in their craft, and are adept at working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Tailor/Seamstress :

  • Custom alterations, repairs, and adjustments on various garments.
  • Execute precision sewing, hemming, and finishing techniques.
  • Maintain knowledge of garment construction and fabric properties.

• Production Sewers :

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble garments according to specifications.
  • Maintain consistent quality and meet production deadlines.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure alignment with FitUSA’s standards.

• Collaborate with design and production teams to implement adjustments and improvements.

• Handle fabrics and materials with care to minimize waste and damage.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress, or production sewer in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines (single needle, overlock, coverstitch, etc.).
• Knowledge of various fabrics and garment construction techniques.
• Ability to read and follow patterns, specifications, and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and production demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume apparel manufacturing.
• Knowledge of sportswear, uniforms, or specialized garment production.
• Background in quality control or garment inspection.
