SYSTEMS ENGINEER II

SUMMARY:

Consultant needed to provide systems engineering support for a thriving medical device innovator.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leadership and oversight for cross-functional teams focused on product development and all aspects of Quality Systems, including change control, design control, validation, documentation, etc.
• Vendor and third-party communications and collaboration
• Test planning, development, execution, analysis and documentation
• Support design verification, process improvement, project and resource planning and management, and other related functions, as required

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years of relevant product production experience and related design control, including solid product and document control experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience and understanding of systems engineering strategy, test method development and execution, development, review and approval of technical and engineering drawings, and related functions
• Experience with product development and production lab equipment tools and equipment (chemical, mechanical and electronic)
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to explain technical issues and challenges to non-engineers
• Relevant Engineering BS degree
• SolidWorks experience preferred
