Primavera is seeking a dynamic individual to join our innovative team as a
full-time Synchronous Teacher - Senior Level Math. Primary duties and responsibilities: - Design and deliver daily (Synchronous) live lessons that are engaging, and include developmentally appropriate instruction based on state standards and best practices
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
- Create a safe, respectful and inclusive virtual classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with instructional team of teachers and tutors to ensure that all students are successfully progressing through the program and acts as the primary point of contact for parents/guardians/students
- Evaluate student work and data in collaboration with the instructional team to drive daily live lessons: regularly gather and analyze data from both formative and summative assessments to glean insight into how well students are understanding and mastering the material and adjust instruction, support, and intervention accordingly
- Grade and provide developmental feedback
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the student learning experience by participating in professional learning and weekly meetings with instructional/grade level and/or content area collaborative teams
- Establish rapport with students and their families while expressing the importance of consistent attendance and engagement to meet learning objectives
- Assist with administering standardized assessments locally and within the state of Arizona
- Attend all school sponsored activities
- Additional duties as needed

Job Specific Skills/Abilities: - Must be computer proficient in order to focus on student learning rather than the tools of instruction
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Products, Canvas Learning Management System, and internet-based applications
- Maintain knowledge of research, developments, and best practices in secondary education and digital learning environments
- Displays excellent digital skills and the ability to facilitate learning and community within a digital environment
- Ability to look at data analytically, showing excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills as it relates to continuous improvement for professional and personal growth
- Demonstrate a proven track record of success improving student outcomes
- Ability to deliver dynamic and engaging synchronous sessions using real world examples
Education/Training: - Bachelor's Degree
- Arizona 6-12 Teacher Certification Required
- Highly qualified in Math
- Current valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Teaching experience at the secondary education level preferred
- Experience in online education preferred
- Must be able to work onsite in Chandler, AZ or Rexburg, ID
