A bit about us: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager (Sourcing/Construction) to join our fast-paced Private Equity firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our supply chain operations, overseeing property and warehouse management, demand planning, receiving, inventory, and shipping. Job Details Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Manager (Sourcing/Construction), your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing materials to delivering products.
2. Coordinating with various departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
3. Implementing strategies for property and warehouse management to optimize storage, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
4. Overseeing the receiving, inventory, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with standards.
5. Negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
6. Identifying and managing potential risks within the supply chain process.
7. Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
8. Collaborating with other managers to determine supply needs.
9. Preparing and presenting performance reports to senior management.
10. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, specifically in sourcing and construction within the finance industry.
3. Proven experience in property management, warehouse management, demand planning, receiving, inventory, and shipping.
4. Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
5. Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of creating cost-saving measures.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proficiency in relevant supply chain software.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
