We are looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER!

Pay: $135k - $165k/ annually DOE

SUMMARY:

• As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Supply Chain Manager, you will manage the Procurement and Materials Management Teams. You will be in charge of the procurement of composite materials, resins, adhesives, machined metal hardware, and tooling; procure most of Karman’s Huntington Beach office and workshop supplies. You will be responsible for the preparation and administration of Purchase Orders from purchase requests, negotiating pricing, follow through on open orders, and to obtain competitive price quotes from qualified suppliers.
• The Materials Management Team includes materials planning and inventory control. The Teams are responsible for creating Indentured Bill of Materials (IBOMs), Procurement BOMs, and issuing materials to Manufacturing to facilitate the on time start for fabrication of deliverable hardware. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Oversee overall supply chain operation, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors. Work according to First Articles requirements for certain customer needs with schedules, terms, and conditions of Karman Space and Defense.
• Co-ordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new products.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and employees to ensure that all requirements are being met.
• Leads and directs the work of others in the purchasing and materials management departments.
• Assign and manage KPI’s for Procurement and Materials Management functions to facilitate continuous process improvements.
• Be able to redesign workflow and processes within the guidelines of Policy & Procedures.
• Experience using ERP and MRP systems. Knowledge of EPICOR a plus.
