To function as a responsible member of the Central Sterile Processing Department in cleaning, packing, sterilizing and restocking instruments and supplies for those areas of the hospital in which they are required.
Responsible to Staff nurses, Charge Nurse, Director of Surgical Services and Chief Operating Officer.
Interrelationships with all ancillary departments are essential
Education: High School graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience required.
Experience: Previous working experience and/or completion of an orientation program.
Licenses/Certifications: CRCST or equivalent required.
