North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a job in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Job Description & Requirements\nMaintains Instruments: monitors, cleans and assembles all surgical trays prior to transportation to CSP for sterilization. Accounts for any missing instruments before sending to CSP

\nMaintains Surgical Supplies: monitors, orders and stocks surgical supplies on a daily basis.
\n
\nMaintains Regulatory Records: monitors and records all autoclave testing. Maintains these records to meet the standards and procedures established by NMMC, OSHA and JCAHO.
\n
\nProcedure Preparations: works with ORT’s in selecting supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. Works as a scrub member of the surgical team, as needed, to ensure that staffing mix and ratio is met.
\n
\nMaintains Performance Competency: attends required inservices, annual review and education programs.
\n
\nJob Knowledge: Experienced surgical technologist with at least two years experience. Type and duration of orientation will be based on skills developed during on-the-job training. AMS training will be required.
