Inova Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU for a nursing job in Falls Church, Virginia.

We are seeking a full time experienced ICU RN for the Neuro ICU at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Shift: Day/Night Rotation (3x12-hour shifts)
We are offering a sign on bonus and relocation bonus (for those relocating to the area).
The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is an 18-bed adult unit. It is the only dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit in the Northern Virginia region. Our patient population includes Neurosurgery, Ischemic stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, and other critical care patients based on bed availability. We are actively engaged in clinical research to treat the patient with CVA to include Interventional Radiology procedures. Inova Fairfax Medical Campus has received certification to be a primary Stroke Center from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and is currently a level 4 Epilepsy Center designated. Average length of stay for the NSICU is 4.3 days. Our nurse/patient ratio is 1:2.

Requirements:
- 1 year of RN ICU experience required; 2+ years of ICU experience preferred.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
- Proficient computer skills required
