Job Duties and Responsibilities We offer opportunities to make significant, visible contributions to a high-growth, startup-type business within a sound Fortune 250 company. Our purpose is to safeguard company assets and produce timely, accurate, actionable financial information – while participating in the design and implementation of new systems, creating efficiencies, and developing strategies for executing across the Wireless buildout business. Key Responsibilities: Prepare entries to accounts (GL and Subledger) documenting business transactions Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations Develop solutions to capture financial data for unique business transactions Perform ad-hoc analysis on Wireless buildout costs, and other initiatives as assigned Develop, implement, and continuously improve process Prepare financial results and reports (monthly and quarterly) for leadership Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree a plus (Finance and related fields may be considered) 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, preferably in a technology business Skills and Qualifications: A working knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and standards (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis) Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations and ability to synthesize data into concise analysis Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions Advanced skills in MS Excel and proficience with ERP systems (Oracle Financials or equivalent) Strong interpersonal, oral, and written presentation skills, and an ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable, clear, effective communications CPA, or equivalent qualification a plus This role will be onsite in Englewood, CO Salary Ranges Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
