Microsoft SSIS / SQL ETL Developer
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft SSIS & SQL ETL Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise ETL workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server , SSIS , and end-to-end ETL pipeline development , ensuring high-quality data integration and processing across systems.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS .
Create complex data workflows using Control Flow, Data Flow, Script Tasks, Parameters, and Expressions.
Develop reusable SSIS templates and components to standardize ETL processes.
Build and automate incremental and full-load data pipelines.
Develop SQL-based ETL processes using stored procedures, functions, views, and T-SQL scripts.
Optimize SQL ETL workflows for large datasets and high-performance execution.
Implement data transformations, validations, cleansing, and business rules within SQL and SSIS.
Work with relational databases, staging layers, and data warehouse structures.
Integrate data from SQL Server, flat files, APIs, Excel, XML/JSON, and cloud-based sources.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy across all ETL pipelines.
Conduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation between systems.
Deploy SSIS packages to different environments and schedule jobs via SQL Server Agent .
Monitor ETL executions and troubleshoot failures, data issues, or performance bottlenecks.
Implement logging, auditing, and error-handling frameworks for reliable ETL solutions.
Work with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to gather and understand mapping requirements.
Translate business rules into technical ETL specifications.
Document ETL workflows, mapping documents, data lineage, and operational procedures.
Participate in code reviews and follow version-control best practices (Git/DevOps).
3-8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS and SQL Server ETL development .
Advanced T-SQL programming skills (queries, joins, indexing, performance tuning).
Strong understanding of ETL architecture, data flow optimization, and best practices.
Experience working with data warehouses, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modeling.
Ability to handle large datasets and optimize ETL performance.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, SSAS).
Exposure to Azure SQL , Azure Data Factory (ADF) , or cloud-based ETL solutions.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database/ETL deployments.
Experience in domain-specific data pipelines (banking/financial, retail, healthcare, etc.).
